Is SolFoundry safe? Security and audit status

Is SolFoundry safe? What your wallet signs, our official addresses, how to verify a launch yourself, and what has not been independently audited.

Last updated 2026-11-05

The short version

SolFoundry is non-custodial. We never hold your funds and never ask for your seed phrase or private key. Every action that moves funds is a transaction you review and approve in your own wallet.

SolFoundry has not had an independent security audit, and the website is closed source. So this page shows what you can check yourself instead of asking you to take our word for it.

What your wallet is asked to sign

  • Launching a token: creates the mint and its metadata, mints the supply, writes an on-chain launch record and pays the platform fee shown on the review screen. By default it also revokes the mint and metadata authorities and sets no freeze authority.
  • Creating a pool on /liquidity-lock: deposits the SOL and tokens you chose into a new pool and locks the position. Tokens not launched on SolFoundry also pay the fee shown before you sign.
  • Claiming fees: moves the trading fees your locked position has earned into your wallet.
  • Buying an AI Pass: one SOL transfer to the platform receiver below.
  • Burning tokens: destroys the amount you entered from your own token account. There is no SolFoundry fee.

What we do not ask for

  • Your seed phrase or private key. Anyone asking for them is not SolFoundry, including anyone claiming to be our support.
  • A token approval or delegate that would let us spend from your wallet later. Each action is one you approve at the time.
  • Tokens or SOL sent to us to "verify", "unlock" or "recover" a launch. We will never ask for this.

Official addresses

Check it yourself

  • Before signing, read the preview in your wallet. A platform fee should go to the receiver above, for the amount the review screen showed.
  • After launching, open the mint on Solscan and confirm the authorities. Advanced Launch lets a creator keep them, so check each token you buy.
  • Paste any mint into Rug Check at https://solfoundry.io/rug-check to read its authorities, pool and lock from chain.
  • Verify a lock without using our website: our MIT-licensed scripts at https://github.com/solfoundryio/solfoundry-tools only read the chain and never sign or send a transaction.

Start with a small wallet

SolFoundry runs on Solana mainnet only, so there is no test mode with free SOL. For a first launch, use a separate wallet holding only what the launch needs.

What has not been verified

  • No independent audit. We run automated security testing ourselves, and that is not a substitute for one.
  • The website is closed source, so you cannot review the code that builds each transaction. Your wallet preview and the chain are how you check what it did.
  • We control the website, so we could change what it asks you to sign. That is why reading the preview matters on every transaction, and why we suggest a separate wallet with a small balance for a first launch.

What a lock does not protect against

  • Locked liquidity cannot be withdrawn by anyone, including you, even if the token fails.
  • A creator can still sell tokens they hold into the pool. A lock keeps the liquidity in place, not the price.
  • The lock applies to pools created through SolFoundry. A token whose pool was created elsewhere has only the protection its creator chose.

Frequently asked questions

Is SolFoundry safe to use?

SolFoundry is non-custodial: it never holds your funds or asks for your seed phrase, and you approve each transaction in your own wallet. It has not had an independent security audit and the website is closed source, so read each wallet preview and start with a separate wallet and a small balance.

Has SolFoundry been audited?

No. SolFoundry has not had an independent security audit. It runs automated security testing itself, which is not a substitute for one. Its public scripts let anyone verify a pool lock on-chain without using the website.

Can SolFoundry take funds from my wallet?

Not without a transaction you approve. SolFoundry never asks for a token approval or delegate that would let it spend from your wallet later. Because it controls the website, always check that what your wallet shows matches what you intended.

What is the official SolFoundry website?

solfoundry.io is the only official domain. Similar names, such as sol-foundry.fun, are not ours. Our mainnet platform fee receiver is 2p3zM7zhQ5KhbQACkV2mtXQ8m3jrUuc8VvVexH34Mgjd.

Can I test SolFoundry without spending real SOL?

No. SolFoundry runs on Solana mainnet only, so there is no test mode with free SOL. For a first launch, use a separate wallet holding only what the launch needs.

Verify our on-chain claims yourself

Open source under MIT. Inspect pools, verify LP locks, read the anti-sniper math.
